For ten years, from 1975 to 1985, Jacques & Suzanne was the premiere restaurant in Little Rock, Arkansas and its influence is still felt today. Nearly forty years later, it is still remembered fondly by it’s patrons. But this is not only the story of a restaurant, it is a tale of the American Dream.
This short documentary, completed by Chris Cranford in 2022, has been called “Delightful” by the Arkansas Times and “Outstanding” by Arkansas Money & Politics.
Featuring interviews with the restaurant’s founders, Paul Bash and Louis Petit, along with many others who worked there including Denis Seyer and Beat Koutoun. Produced along with Drake Mann and Tony Poe, the film is available to watch for free at jacquesdoc.com.
